Directions
FROM THE NORTH-WEST: A12 southbound, then-SS1 Aurelia until Albinia (150.5km), continue towards Manciano, then follow the signs to Sovana. Note: Aurelia, from Grosseto onwards there are several exits for Manciano, take the one called “Albinia”.
ORVIETO FROM: SR71 direction Montefiascone / Viterbo until the fork for S. Lorenzo Nuovo (17 km), then follow signs for SP74 then for Pitigliano and then for Sovana.
FROM FLORENCE (no highway): A1 exit Firenze Certosa then highway FI-SI, exit Siena Sud, follow the SS2 Cassia direction Roma for 146.7km, follow the signs to Sorano and then to Sovana.
FROM FLORENCE: A1 exit Chiusi, then follow the signs to Cbianciano and follow the signs for the SS2 Cassia, follow the SS2 Cassia direction Roma for 146.7km, then follow the signs to Sorano and then to Sovana.
FROM ROME (Fiumicino area and Aurelia): A12 northbound, then-SS1 Aurelia until the exit for Vulci (111km), follow signs for Manciano and then for Sovana.
NORTH FROM ROME: A1 exit Orte, then the highway for Viterbo, exit SS2 Cassia Nord, 3km from the exit follow the signs to the right for Valentano; then for Pitigliano until Sovana.
NORTH FROM ROME (no highway): SS2 Cassia for 69.3 km, after Vetralla follow signs for Tuscania and then for Piansano then for Valentano then for Pitigliano and finally for Sovana
